A Great Creative Project...

Being a platform which promotes creative projects we decided it would be a good idea to send out an invitation to all creatives with the aim of finding some more inspiring creative projects for you all to enjoy.

The first reply to come back was from Devotion BCN founder, Kepa Gainza who has recently embarked on a bold and brilliant project which shines the light on those with devotion toward an artform. Hi Kepa! For starters please can you tell us why you are doing this project?

I´m doing this project because I was working before on a Video-Reportage Webpage for the Ayuntamiento de Barcelona and pretty soon I found out that everything that seemed interesting to me was banned, so I decided to do a Webpage showing a free version of Video-Reportages.

How come you decided to do this project here in Barcelona?

I´m a foreigner myself and I have been living in Spain for almost ten years now , several of them in Barcelona, and something I really love about this city is how many creative people live here and it is therefore a perfect place to give birth to your wildest dreams!

Do you love what you do and if so why is it so important to you?

Yes I do, I love to do this project because I think that we are living in times where an important shift is about to happen and the traditional ways of living are getting out-dated. Furthermore, I had the need to show to the rest of the world that there are plenty of people trying to make a living of what they love to do the best and it is not necessarily wrong just because it´s new or original!

What stage is the project at now? What are your aims and how you would like it to grow?

The project is young and I´m looking for new people. I would love it if people contacted me to tell me their "devotion" and in this way will they can have a professional video made for them which they can use to show others what they can do best. This is an Adventure and I dont know where it will take me, but I think its a chance I´m ready to take !
