Ripo has been living and pursuing his graffiti in Barcelona since 2005, just before the anti-graffiti laws settled. His way of painting is inspired by himself and the memories and history he is carrying. He's typography, colours and motives always depends on where he is, what state he is in or what thoughts he is having. The process of his work mostly consists of drawing, as he expresses himself: Draw. Draw. Draw. Paint. Draw. Something else. Draw. Paint. and beautifully so on...

Some of Ripo's work is socio-political, as he admits himself, but it is not something he tries to achieve daily. The messages behind the spraypaint are about different truths, who they involve and matters that people deal with everyday.
Like any other graffiti artist he believed that, due to the law, the quality of the artist's work will be reduced and that it will only encourage the fast tags and throw ups left (the marks that the government wanted erased in the first place).
