THE FISH: The Star of Badalona
A mural project led by the Barri Groc, a collective of three Spanish visual artists based in Badalona. They are Max Gärtner, Carlos Garci and Lucas Milà. The image depicts people communally pulling a Koi Carp kite. The fish represents an important part of Badalona’s trade industry.
THE FACE: The Sum of All the People
A mural design led by New York Cuban artist Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada, depicting the ‘Face of Badalona’ after merging 34 photographs of people from each of the 34 districts of the municipality. Previously, the individual photographs had been scanned with a 3D system and connected through a digital process to obtain a single "composite identity that speaks of a common social identity."
THE DEVIL: A Cultural Icon
This vibrant image by Badalona-born artist Sixeart, AKA Sergio Hidalgo, represents a contemporary, colourful vision of Satan.
