Chopstick Meets River Nile

Barcelona based Production trio- DJ Tuffist,Jackie Murda and Aries from the Chopstick Dubplate Lable, have been working on a Junglist Sensation for 2010…
Due to drop at the end of March, beginning of February in Australia but hopefully here in Europe also, ‘Chopstick Meets River Nile’ will have anyone lucky enough to hear it, rocking like a miniture sail boat on the wide open seas. ‘It’s a big record’, Jackie tells us, ‘we spent a lot of time with a lot with vocalists to make the record really good, and then a lot of time in the studio making it even better, it’s a really consistant album’…
‘It features the likes of Natty King, Jah Mason, Lutan Fyah, Turbulance, High Key, Stickky, Antonio West and some young kids too like Jah Roamy, Spectacular and Wildlife..’
Last year saw the release some big records from these three, Sound Boy Gone (also featured on the album), and the Little Island premier remake of Junior Mervin’s Police and Thieves, Number One Sound, are two records that will give you taste of the musical flavour they cook up, and hold tight, because when you click play on this forthcoming album, you’ll want to do it again and again and again…
Solid junglist beats meet well worked lyricism, which sits comfortably on the tracks all the way through, it’s a really smartly blended piece of work and it keeps the head nodding furiously from start to finish…
