How would you describe yourself as a Dj? What characteristics make your music unique?
I am a very impulsive, energetic and at the same time a sensitive person. I think you can hear all these characteristics in my sets.
I try to catch the vibe of a night or also try to make people on the dance-floor feel what I am trying to get across to them. A story in a DJ set.
How have you evolved personally and musically from the start of your career to today?
Up until now I have still been learning about music and different styles, and I am still trying to improve the way I play and define my style, which is still very open to all kinds of genres.
What are your top three favourite places to play and why?
1. FUSE London - the vibe in this place is unreal, you can play as deep as you want, for hours...people follow you blind there and are so open, feels like playing for friends in my own living room.
2. Panorama Bar Berlin - I played there 3 time already. The last time was a 4 hour set on Sunday night...magical atmosphere and the soundsystem? WOW!
3. Rebel Rebel / Rashomon Rome - amazing crowd, same phenomena as in London - living room feeling when I play!
What is the most bizarre source you've ever drawn inspiration from?
Nothing can be bizarre if you draw inspiration from it, no?
Anything new coming up we should know about?
There will be a remix for YAYA's "never alone EP" and a remix for Miss Kittin on Heidi's new Jackathon label … very excited about that. And more solo projects and a collaboration that I did for Radio Slave’s Label Rekids with the Romanian producer VID. Well and of course my new radio show "COULD BE WORSE" on Ibiza Global Radio. It will start on 5th July and will be on weekly, Thursdays!
What advice would you give to DJs just starting out on a new career?
HAVE PASSION FOR WHAT YOU DO, YOU CAN'T FAIL WITH LOVE FOR SOMETHING.
