Dimensions Festival is a new music festival for 2012 with an intimate setting and beautiful surroundings on the picturesque Adriatic coast at the Fort Punta Christo. It will open its gates in just two months to a wave of Bass music lovers who want to be immersed in the deeper end of the electronic spectrum through some of Europe's best sound systems.
The Incredible Venue
The 'stages' of the festival are exotic, spooky and wild, from Romanesque crumbling-stone-walled courtyards and 'arenas', a 100m long area in a moat, tree-spotted gardens and even a tunnelled dungeon. That's without even mentioning an abundance of beach parties, BBQs and more, as well as boat parties in the surrounding sea. Have a look at the venue(s) on the official website here.

Just to give you a little taster of a fantastic line-up...
A highly regarded artist of his genre, Carl Craig from Detroit tops a list of other acts that have been influenced by his sound, which is created on a path somewhere between jazz, soul and live techno.
Little Dragon from Sweden, who we recently wrote about (here) will storm the festival with a pumping electro show.
Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, is undoubtably one of London's finest and most diverse musicians. Having worked with a range of artsits, from MF Doom to Radiohead, Hebden's music draws elements from Folk, Jazz, Electronica and Hip Hop. Currently living in New York, Four Tet sets sail for Croatia for a highly anticipated live performance.
Dimensions welcomes East London's Portico Quartet. Their uniquely delicate sound encompasses both acoustic and electronic elements, promising a cinematic performance. Another highly anticipated performance is Britain's Mount Kimbie, who have made their mark on the Bass community with their impressive live shows. Tom Middelton is an artist who is no stranger to all things deep and wonderful. He joins Dimensions as Sounds Of the Cosmos, his new label which showcases a variety of styles all of which fit in perfectly with the vibe of the festival. Koreless, Glasgow's hottest new contributor to exceptional Scottish music talent, had his broke through the music scene last year with his highly appreciated track 4D.
Alongside the few live acts mentioned above, Dimensions boasts some of the greatest DJ's from Europe and America.
