Enjoy your summer nights with Mecal Air Film Festival

Probably the first things you would think about Barcelona are party and music festivals. Barcelona is a fast moving city filled with life, if you find that you just want to relax with your peers during the summer nights, then Barcelona also offers you a lot of things and places to do just that. For example, there are plenty of beaches and quiet but funky bars around La Rambla and Plaza Reial. But I bet you don't know that there's also a film festival from the 8th of June to the 28th of September.
The event is taking place in Poble Espanyol, an open-air village museum displaying some of the most famous and beautiful architecture from all Spain, and representing all the Spanish regions. It is also a place for art and shopping, with lots of small shops and restaurants offering the locals and tourists the most typically Spanish products.
So what are you waiting for? There's a whole summer of outdoor short films taking place every Friday from 8:00 pm, with thematic film showings ranging from humour to horror. Why not enjoy an evening or two at the festival with great views of Barcelona from dusk, great vibes and a chance to meet new people?
