Today in Galeria Artevista, an exhibition opens, starring the leading French Contemporary Photographer, Vincent Malléa. Malléa's work is a series of anatomical portraits, breaking the glamour that has surrounded his work so far, this time giving us, the audience, an almost clinical vision of nudity.

Malléa's narcissism reaches a climax with the rigorous and methodical dismemberment of all the pieces of the human anatomy. The exhibition seems almost as if it has been created solely for the artist; a moment of unfathomable introspection, an anxious and contemplative "mise en abyme". The photographs are colourized digitally, his characters are sublimated, and often appear as icons; sometimes almost heroic. He likes to project the model of a world sublime; half-god, or fairy, or Madonna. Malléa's intention appears to be to share all of this with the public, as always with humour, provocation and idolatry.

The word 'ordinary' does not apply to the work of Malléa. Everything is "hyper-ized"; exaggerated by the artist.
